Finances are stable but membership is very low.
Need to encourage former members to renew and new members to join.
2007 Taxes are done and filed.
We have 501c status.
$750 was donated to HMA-PAC this year.
New CME requirements effective with the 2010 renewal
40 category 1 or 1A CME hours between 7/1/08 – 6/30/10.
The Board of Medical Examiners will conduct random audits for compliance and will notify those selected in April 2010.
Plans are in the works for a 1 day CME program on Oahu, offering 5-10 CME hours, this Fall.
Terri Kakugawa, D.O. has been appointed, Adjunct Assistant Professor at ATSUHi and will be teaching OMM.
Ron Kienitz, D.O. will be our representative at the AOA House of Delegates meeting in Chicago in July. Les Barrickman, D.O. is our alternate.
