Teresa Ann Denney, D.O.
Denney, Dr. Teresa Ann, born May 20, 1950, passed into Gods hands on January 16, 2012 at Queens Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii. Dr. Denney started her medical practice in 1984 in Honolulu after graduating from the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific in 1983 with a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Denney also obtained a BS in Nursing from University of Nevada in 1974 and a Doctor of Acupuncture from Hawaii College of Health Sciences in 2000. In 1984 she was awarded Intern of the Year from the Dallas - Fort Worth Medical Center. She was a Charter Member of Sigma Phi Honor Society, a member of The American Academy of Osteopathy, American Osteopathic Association, and The Cranial Academy of Osteopathy. She was appointed a member of the board of Governors for Osteopathic Physicians & Surgeons for the State of Hawaii. Teresa loved her patients and continually expanded her medical knowledge to help them. Her survivors include life partner Coll Daniel/ Larry Garramone, brother Michael Miles of California, sister Patricia Miles of Vermont, and all of her wonderful beloved friends and patients.
There will be two memorial services: February 12, 2012 @ 11:00am at the Maunalua Bay at the canoe house for scattering of the ashes and on March 18th 2012 @ noon at the Honolulu Japanese Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2655 Manoa Road Honolulu to celebrate Dr. Denney’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Dr. Teresa Denney Memorial Fund. For additional information you can call Coll @ 808-371-9550.
